greetings from central ma

Hi All,

Lurking on this forum is what convinced me to buy a KLR. I am going to put my Triumph Tbird into mothballs for a while and bring it out as my parade bike when I retire. My intention was to get a " like new " KLR or buy a new one. Well it took a while but my ship came in. The guy bought the bike and decided it just wasn't for him. So he let it go at a fair price. On my test ride I hit every pothole I could find ( not hard after this winter, I think all of New England's roads are one big pothole ) The bike absolutely floated over them. Seems very very comfortable at 50 mph. The breaking was a little unsure. I think that is just something I will have to get used to. I can't wait for the temperature to get above 20F. I cannot remember a winter this cold and I have been living here for almost 60 years. ( except my time in the service ) Looking forward to hanging with you guys.

Welcome to the club, brother.
