New KLR 650 owner in northern Michigan

Well, I shook hands on buying a 2001 KLR 650 after a quick test ride (holy crap was it cold this morning! 37 degrees!) this morning. I can't imagine getting a better deal anywhere. This bike has seen use, showing 31,000 on the odometer, and a dent in the left side/small tear in the seat/cracked handguard on that side, but coming with street tires (on bike) and knobby tires as spares, the taller windshield plus the standard one still with it, a spare throttle cable, some Kawi oil, a cover, the tank bag and (not pictured) small top bag. All told, I shook for an asking price of...get ready for it...$1250! I hope to take delivery by next weekend (have a tentative deal on selling my '85 BMW k100rt too! All in all, a great day)!

Now, to prioritize my upgrades... Replacement the broken handguard and bent gear shift, new footpegs, ammo can panniers, skidplate, bar risers...
