New KLR owner in Phoenix

Just got a 2000 KLR w/ 8000 miles, in pretty good shape. I'm looking forward to making a few modifications and improvements and going on some adventures. Not only am I new to KLR's but I am new to Phoenix, so if anyone out there is in my area and wants to ride, let me know...

Welcome. Plenty of KLR riders in the valley. A lot head north in the summer.
Your riding season is just starting. Watch the group ride or southwest forums for get togethers. We just had a ride to Young from Punkin Center this past weekend. Went well.
Are you dirt oriented?

Old Fahrt
Too young for medicare
Too old for women to care
I aint paranoid. The whole world IS out to get me.

Welcome to the forums MC, looks like you gonna have plenty of company on your rides, wished we had as many in this area, gonna have to search em out I spose...

I used to be twice as fast and half as good, now I am twice as good and half as fast, gettin older not such a bad thing...
