New to Forum, Hello!

I bought a 2009 KLR 650 and it is like revisiting my youth again. I have a 2008 Honda 250 Nighthawk that I use as a commuter and purred around on it for 6 years. Now I moved 25 miles from work and the Nighthawk cannot do 60 mph. Of course the KLR will do 60 in 3rd gear.
It has been fun learning to ride in the wind. I am considering the longer windscreen to improve the wind resistance and handling.
I am glad I bought the KLR and look forward to many trips and adventures.

PS. 2008 Honda 250 Nighthawk for sale! That is how much I like the Kawasaki KLR 650

get away with...

A great way to put it. I like to "get away" on the weekends. Last weekend I rode to visit my Mom for Mother's Day and got comments from everyone about revisiting my childhood.
Heck, it sounds like I am still young at heart.
I have been reading through the forum learning more about the KLR and what I would need to do.
You were the first to say "You need to ride it."
You are my kind of rider!
Thanks for the note.
Have a great weekend and safe travels.
