Brought a new Red 08 home yesturday.

I had a 89 KLR in the early 90's. Ended up selling it and getting the boys a 4 wheeler. I am back on the new version. Traded the FZ1 for the KLR yesturday. Still have the Roadstar for the wife and I to ride. I left dealer in the rain after I had them install the taller kaw shield. I put 31 miles on the new bike. It was only 10 miles back to the house. But the cold and rain didn't seem to bother me at all. Then back at the house decided the dirt needed washed off...............so off to the car wash I go. Went back to dealer today to get my original sheild. And with a 20% discount out of the kaw book. I ended up ordering everything kaw made for the 08 except the bike cover. Can't wait for the weather to break. Very cold, windy, and snowing today.

Well I have wrote twice Breck but the fast reply does not seem to work. I live in IL across river from St.Louis. I got into the kaw catalog and with the 20% discount ordered all the KLR stuff except the bike cover. It got out of control for sure. Going to be in the 50's this weekend miles will be put on for sure. I ride even around the block if the streets are not icy. The itch just gets to strong. 50's I usually just take off. LOL Heck with this new bike snow wont stop me anymore hahha take care.
