Central Louisiana noob

Picked up a clean 2012 yesterday. having me morning coffee and fixin' to go try it out.
the bride is a bit confused as to why I need three bikes.
What do the HD guys say? "if ya have to ask, you won't understand"?
my other two are wee ones, a TW200 and a WR250R.
will report back tonight.
cheers.

Made it home safely. 250 miles today. I like it.
Nice to be able to cruise at highway speeds and take a detour on the gravel back roads on the same bike.

thanks,

I'll be needing some saddlebag racks, a crash bar and such. I am soliciting opinions on the best brands/source, etc. I am sure it has been discussed ad nauseam but searched without success.
suggestions on bag racks and crash bars??

thanks, Hog86r

I like in Baton Rouge. Where do you live in Cenla? Is Chipola still used for dirt bike riding? I don't have a bike currently, lookimg for a KLR.

oops
didn't see your question.
I live in Forest Hill, La. in Rapides Parish (the central part of the state)
not the village/town of Central, which I think is in East Baton Rouge parish.
We have some good trails and gravel forest service roads here.
