Well, after thirty years of riding, I decided to add a KLR to my fleet for those days when the FJR 1300 just won't cut it, hehe.
Picked up a nice 2006 with 8800 miles and it has a ton of mods....
Doo-Hickey, Thermo-bob, Sargent Seat, crash guards, I did the clutch and side stand bypass mods, Oversized wave rotor and 2 piston Tokiko caliper, Skid plate, KLX needle kit, tool tube and a quick release trunk and probably something else I forgot.
I went over it completely and shored up some of the wiring and I have Oil, air filter and plug on the way. It needed a good cleaning but it runs perfect! Put 100 miles on it yesterday and all is well....does not seem to use a bit of oil (at least not yet).
