New to the KLR world

Good day all. I have just become the porud owner of a 2014 KLR 650 NE. It has been quite a few years since I have ridden but I am very much looking forward to enjoying the bike. This site seems to be a wealth of information about this amazing bike.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Congrats on the new ride! And being the new edition you get a much upgraded seat and better suspension, win/win in my books!

Tons of info and great people here, a very relaxed atmosphere as well compared to some of the other KLR specific websites, enjoy!

I just love it,
When the HD crowd tries to catch and re-pass the "dirt bike" that just passed them on a twisty mountain road.
Especially on the Down Hill Run.

One of these days I will probably get another speeding ticket.

Given the length of time it has been since I last rode, there won't be much passing on any twisties. lol

Sold my DR, went through two HD's, then got back where we/ I belong.

Sure a Dynaglide is cool, but it doesn't climb stairs or cross creeks worth a damn.

Sure glad to be done with my "Harley phase". Whatta waste of merchandising I
spent to wear "the uniform", $100 chrome pieces mass produced so I can be original
and personalize my bike?

Gimme a KLR and a can of black touch up paint, and see ya on top of the dunes.
