My therapist recommended this forum

It happened on an ordinary Saturday like any other rainy, gloomy PNW weekend in March. Sitting on the couch in my Snuggie, sipping chamomile tea, typing random words into Google when an image pops up for these SW Motech crash bars. It was a jolt of pure black powder-coated, vibration-isolating, German-engineered bike porn. I had to have those crash bars, I didn't just want them - I needed them, a void had opened in my soul that only they could fill.

Problem was I ride a Thunderbird Storm and they didn't make them for my bike. I looked closely at the picture again and they were attached to something called a KLR. OK, fine if that's what it takes to get those babies in my garage I'll do it.

I ordered the bars then I jumped over to Craigslist and found a used 2015 that had already been dropped once and clearly needed the bars too. My increasingly jealous wife agreed to drive me 100 miles to pick it up and every mile of asphalt on the ride home brought me closer to those sweet, sweet crash bars.

Just this morning as I was in my yard throwing mud on the KLR to make it look badass, someone rode by with a set of panniers - smoking hot Happy Trail Tetons I think - oh, man this is going to be bad.

I hope I can get the help here that I desperately need.
