hi!

I am new to riding motorcycles and just got the best bike in the world, my first- a loved, well cared-for, and super full-of-character 1998 KLR 650.

I'm wondering if city group rides are a good idea for new riders. for the time being in pretty happy forging out on my own and I'm considering going out to some islands via ferry to get some longer days in. I'm dirt curious but feel like new tires may be needed as the ones on there seem pretty much road tires. happy to read up and learn from the community.
