New KLR?

Hello everyone, I joined this forum to get some feedback on buying a KLR 650.
I'm from TX and currently ride a 2007 Yamaha R1.

Cool +1

I am in the process of selling a bike to fund a 2009 KLR650 and am interested in thoughts, comments, tech tips unique to the redesigned KLR,etc... myself. What are the top 5 mods to a new KLR?

Finally!

Picked up a red 09' KLR on Saturday. Thanks to foul weather, it has but 125 miles on the odometer. I hope to rememdey that this coming weekend! Have a torsion spring doohickey kit and a Thermo-bob on the shelf waiting to be installed at a future date. With he 1st tank of gas still going through, It's going to be a bit. Still, this is one fun bike!
