Pretty stoked to be a “new” KLR owner!

Hello from Minneapolis. 👋🏼 This morning I finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first KLR. I’ve been researching for quite a while and this forum is a wealth of knowledge. I wanted to say thank you to all those who post and encourage others. I’m looking forward to turning my bone stock 2012 into a backroad adventure beast!

LLOOOVVE all things BLACK...
black, Black, BLACK MAAAAAN!!!!!!

I'm doing my '03 in Black (trying to find reasonably priced black rims... PFFFT!!!) and I'm loving it!
It's not a 'FrameUpResto' mind you, but it'll CERTAINLY look A LOT better than stock or than anything the DPOs did to it (DipStickPreviousOwners).

BTW, you diminish the value of 'bone stock' as you obviously ended up with a cleaner bike than me. I said it before (previous Posts) and I'll say it again...
"The DPO of my '03 held stock in JBWeld Co."
I'm pretty sure EVERY JBWeld product there is, or ever was, WAS on my Bike...
BUT NO MORE!!!
So, find some appreciation for bone stock!!!

AND GO BLACK!!!

And Welcome... TONS-a GREAT info on this Site saved me money, time, heartache, and disappointment. If I ever get to ride with these folks we'll find out if they are real or just Avatars... but my expectation is I'll be learning even more!!!
Good Folk here...
