Newish... I guess

Been lurking for a while. Decided I needed to become a member.
Recently bought the bike that is my screen name and avatar. I love it!
Grew up riding enduros and some street bikes later in my twenties.
Served 10 years in the USMC. First 4 in the Infantry at Camp Pendleton. First saw the M1030B1 on a field op and wanted one ever since. Took 28 years, but I have it now!
Been 22 or so years since I had a street legal bike, so easing into the traffic thing.

Bike is all original USMC and had 270 miles on it when I bought it.

It’s a 2000, surplused in 2008, spent it’s first 8 years of civilian life in a military museum.
PO was meticulous in keeping it all original.
Even went so far as attaching the license plate with binder clips and zip ties cause he didn’t want to drill a hole in the fender! And obviously rode it very little.

I think I am just gonna ride it and enjoy it in it’s original form for a little while. Maybe hit a show before I replace/change anything.

What do ya’ll think?
