introduction

Hi all. I got a new 2018 650 klr, it has about 350 miles on it now and I did drop the oil around 300. I went with a reusable oil filter as I have had good luck with them on the Harleys. I sold a Harley and was going to get out of riding but kept looking into the klr. then I found out that 2018 was/is the last year of the old girl. So at a dealer in AZ $6651.19 later, out the door it went. Ill do the do at the end of summer. My only additions at this point are going to be crash bars and the 17 tooth front sprocket. As its a tar baby and some gravel roads and logging roads.
people say it vibrates, I don't think its bad. My last mentiond bike was a 2015 and I could feel my teeth chatter from the vibration of the V twin.
Every body have a nice day.

A 16 tooth sprocket is probably all you need. I would suggest you try that first. I might consider a 17 if all I had was highway commutes but then if that was the case I’d probably get a different bike.
