Aussie traveling the Americas
I've been a long time lurker on this site, enjoying both the wonderful info and the banter. Thought it is time to register introduce myself.
I ride a 1990 Tengai, which I have owned for about ten years. Because of a bit of luck I now have much free time and I use it now for international travel. The bike has now done 262,000km (or about 175,000 miles) and passed through 51 countries since I left Australia. First trip took me from South Korea through Russia to Europe. Subsequent trips have taken me all around Europe, up the length of Africa, the length of South America and Central America and Mexico. Today I crossed the border to the USA, which was the inspiration to sent this post.
I might need the fittings help over the next few days. The bike unfortunately celebrated the crossing of the border by stopping soon after. I have lost spark. Currently working through the possible causes but I'll post a seperate message on this and will welcome suggestions on what to check etc.
Again thank you to all on the forum for the information I have cleaned from you in the past.
