Redneck Math

The worst part? This is a true story.

I called a guy I work with who has been off for some surgery on his ankle. I asked him when he was going to be coming back to work. He replied:

"Not as soon as I thought. At first they said the rehab was going to take about a month or a month and a half, but now they're saying it's going to take 4 to 6 weeks."

"Wow, 10 weeks is a long time to heal an ankle," Tom said calculatingly.
