it sure is cool, I think we have found a way of setting up an sos board without even trying. If you click on the name, it gives a way to contact the guy listed on the pin.

i discovered this awhile back when mapping a route to meet some riders at a starbucks. starbucks driving directions will route you away from interstates and onto the most remote backroads you can find.

try it out, it's pretty cool if you like to stay off the freeway.

I found another great resource. This site will show you where the active wildfires are in the USA. It might save some dangerous travel and long detours.
