Lay 'em on Trab.

Consider mouniing them assymetrically.

I originally mounted some K761s symetrically and they cupped badly until I flipped the front around (against Kenda's recommendation). They handle better and the cupping stopped.

interesting. something I'll have to try out some time. Want to try them 'stock' first at least to see how they do that way.
I'm really bummed I got hurt. The weather here has been taunting me with its' greatness since I exploded my back. Not to mention I want those tires mounted so bad. But, I can't ride anyway, so I guess them sitting on or off the bike doesn't matter either way.

I lived in Phoenix through one summer and two winters and you're right, now is the best time of year there.

Confessing my ignorance and absence of awareness . . . how does one injure his back at a concert?

And, along this line, a "Social D" concert? Is Social D the name of the performing artist/ensemble?

Yes; I'm square and prehistoric!

Regardless, best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery; and--do report on the performance of those tires, whatever they may be!

Social D stands for Social Distortion. Punk rocker group from California. Don't mind some of their stuff but generally not my cup of tea.

Are those tires Shinkos?

Heh, I was helping someone up that had fallen over. He was a rather big fella.

Social D is actually Social Distortion. Social D for short. They've been a favorite band of mine since I was a in Jr. High. My wife is a huge fan too, so we go whenever they're in town.
Thanks for the wishes. And oh, sorry. The tires are Shinko 705s. I'll definitely post a report as soon as I get back riding again.

Thanks for the explantions, TrabFTW!

I'm REALLY out-of-it!

Now, how does one "fall over" at a concert?

(Never mind; never mind; I withdraw the question! )

I don't know if I should be embarrassed or not to admit this, but I was in the mosh pit. This may be a sign that I'm finally too old for such nonsense.

I think that is how they are marked for rotation, front tire pattern is opposite of the rear. The front wears very well rotating as marked. I got 12k out of the front with very little cupping and still have enough tread to go another 2k. That's outstanding wear.
