Rotella in the Honda?

I've never gone there. But I don't know why??? Can't see why it would be an issue.

I'm gonna go for it tomm, since I got a bunch of dino Rotella. If I am about to make a huge mistake please stop me.

If the stuff's within recommended viscosity range and API service code recommended, no problem.

Rotelly 15W40 should be mo problem, AFAIK.

You're gonna wreck the engine with that stuff.. Just give me the bike and I'll take care of it like it should be taken care of..

I'm currently sitting in Albany, GA and I had to stop at Walmart.. The only thing I remember the prices on were the ATV seats at $17.83 and gallon jugs of Rotella 15w-40 at $12.50..

I love the stuff!!

Beautiful old Honda. Sure brings back memories, my old CB450 Custom was one of the best bikes I ever had. Yours is in much nicer shape than mine though!

Cheers,
Stew

Thanks, Stew. It's a nice bike. I need to ride it more.

I couldn't do that. The controls are all wonkie compared to a Japanese bike. You might get hurt and then I'd feel really badly..

My first street bike was a 1974 Honda 360T in rough shape.. Still got me hooked on bikes, though.

I don't see a problem with the Rotella either. But it got me to thinking of the oil "filter" on that bike. Isn't it a centrifugal slinger that you have to scrape clean behind the round cover on the right?

Gray-haired riders don’t get that way from pure luck.
