KLR 650 Plastics

Hey There, New here and glad to have found you all! I need to change some of my plastic guards and thought that maybe I would change color while doing this. Are different year plastics interchangeable? Thanks!

Short answer is yes unless you are talking about switching between Gen 1 and Gen 2 plastics.

My Kaw Barn - 2004 KLR, 2006 Concours (sold), 1997 Bayou 400.

"It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. "

HAAA.... I changed the look of mine sliding down Rt 44 at 50 mph with the shiny side down ....... EEERRR

Most aftermarket Hand gards will work on your bike... if that is the part you are looking for?
