Hello, Just picked up a 2007 KLR 650!

Hey,

I just picked up a 2007 KLR with 1,500 miles for $2,500. I'm pretty psyched about it.

I wanted the newer 2008+, but it seemed like a great deal, so I bought it. This will be my first KLR. I took it for a short trip around the block and it was a blast!!

Good deal and maybe a better bike. At least you don;t have to worry about oil consumption issues.

Thanks everyone!

I'd post pictures, but I got a error message that I need to have at least 15 post or more to do so.

I bought an 07 last summer and love it! Mine was completely stock so I have been making changes/upgrades as $ allows and need presents itself. The most recent was the Ricor front fork insert. What a big improvement. Get on the bike as often as possible and "become one"!
Keep the rubber-side down!

I dont mean to scare the OP.....but not necessarily true.

I have an 06 that burns oil. My buddy has an 03 that burns oil. Granted....I know alot of people that have KLRs that dont but the oil burning isnt just an 08 or newer thing.

.....and I bought my bike second hand with 5K miles on it....my buddy owned his since new.

No reason to be scared. Oil ain't that expensive.
