I like... been thinking about the DG myself. How you like it so far? Is there springs holding the silencer to the mid pipe and if so, how is the quality on them?

I like it... A little loud, but it came with a the quiet insert... So if I get tired of the noise I will just put that in

yes there are springs... seems to be good quality..

I like the loud.... cars can hear me now..

I've been going about this all wrong. I've been looking for a quiet muffler with a loud insert, but perhaps I should be looking for a loud muffler with a quiet insert.

Its not excessivley loud... it just gives the KLR that nice thump all real riders want to hear under tourqe... And once you get up to speed ..its as quite as a mouse fart in the wind...lol
