Klr an photography

I like to do photography as a hobby. Mostly outdoor and mountain photography. I'm setup gear wise for hiking and such. Does anyone have any solutions to carry my photography gear on the klr? Seems like a saw a specialized tank bag a while back but can't find it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Photographer here. My set-up is sw-motech panniers with 1550 cases. I can pack for a 2 week safari with this bike. If you're talking just camera and a few lenses I would consider pelican top case. I like Twisted throttle for my gear. They're not cheap but I've had great success with them. Welcome to the tribe!

Pelican Cases are the best way to carry any sensitive equipment on the KLR...It does not take much to outfit one for the tail rack...

I think I'm gonna go with a pelican on the top rack. Thanks for all the help guys. I'm currently building side racks to mount ammo cans to. I think with the pelican in top and the cans on the side I will have an ideal setup for my needs.

I did find a tank bag that touratech makes for photographers but it's almost 400 and can't carry a whole lot.

I pack my LowePro MiniTrekker backpack in the Happy Trail top box (14X22X7) along with a Gitzo Traveler tripod. Have enough room left for the GoPro kit and a pair of sandals! The backpack does a fair job of keeping things from shaking apart.

Current pack ready for the CDT includes:
Canon 5D MkII
Canon 24-70 f2.8L
Canon 580 EXII Flash
Really Right Stuff flash mount and pano gear
Pair of Pocket Wizzards
Rocket blaster
HyperDrive portable hard drive
Misc. cables, memory cards, chargers, etc.

Tank bag will have a Leica DeLux4 point & shoot for the quick shots. Plan on doing a fair amount of time lapse and pano with the DSLR on this trip so I'm stoked!

I'm still working on it. Have about 8 hours into it so far. I started a thread about the build. I will update this evening.
