To paint or not to paint?

I think I have decided to paint my bike blue with black fenders...not sure but the plastic is faded anyway so can't really go wrong. Was looking at paint at Walmart today and they had some that was specifically made for plastic but the only color they had that I would consider for the KLR was a KTM looking orange. Think I'll hold off until I get some more ideas on which paint to use and I need a right side cover as the one on there is broken.

Anyone out there attempted to paint their KLR have any advice?

Go to an auto body shop and ask what paint for bike plastic.

Some auto parts shops carry automotive paint supplies, ask them same.

Bedliner. Or Krylon spray.

Ahh yeah...I think it was Krylon that Walmart had. Says it's specifically for plastic on the can.

With proper prep work, most paints should work. From spray can to gun mix. Bury it under polyurethane for durability is spraying with a gun mix.
