Doubt it they're pretty popular.

Motorcycle Superstore shows them in stock (here)

Was he trying to sell you a different kind of tire? They'll say pretty much anything to move stock.

Kendausa.com still has them listed. No mention of them being discontinued.

No, he said they have one more pair and thats it after that, and he was wondering if I wanted those too.

Sounded weird to me too for them to be discontinued.

Just sent out an email to kenda. I figure if it isn't true, I'll just nip this in the bud and none of us will go out and fill our basements with a stock of tires comparable to what you'd see on Doomsday Preppers.

I'll post when I get a response - I'm curious as I use the Kendas.

It would be weird if Kenda discontinued the 761's since they are so popular. Which shop were you at Ecip? (Curious cause I'm going to need tires soon!)

Kenda contacted me back. They are NOT discontinuing the K761. They however have changed it from a tubed tire to tubeless.

Are tubeless generally harder to get on the rim?

Well if they are going tubless I guess that means I ain't buying them. That means you can't really change them yourself.
