How many miles do you clock.....

So just trying to get some ideas of avg. miles you clock a month/year?
Also where are your miles mostly ran..commute...trips...Do you live in the south or west where you can ride more often or in the north or east and just a hard charger no matter what mother nature throws at ya.

I use my bike mostly to commute to work in Northern Kentucky. I ride year around. This year I put 8,200 miles on the KLR but am hoping to do more than that next year with a couple of trips thrown in.

How about you?

I put over 25K miles on my bikes this year, so far.. Early summer, little rain, and nobody to answer to (became single in the spring) gave me a great reason to ride.. I ride to work (if I'm home) every day and I've been averaging at least 500 miles a weekend pretty much all summer long.. The problem is I spread that out over 6 different bikes, so none really got a lot of riding this summer..

I don't ride all year around because I don't ride after the first application of salt on the roads, and I don't get bikes out until the first good spring rain to wash all that white crap off.. At intersections there will sometimes be salt thicker than the snow was. They'll forget to shut off the auger and the salt will be 3" thick.. I'm not riding my motorcycle in that..

My KLR has about 6 on it this year.

My Beemer has about 21.

So far this year I've covered a lot of central California back roads and done a pretty good tour of Arizona.

I probably average 30,000kms a season and for up here that is not too bad.....Same thing here, I put her away as soon as I see a salt truck or black ice and don't bring the new woman out until the ice and salt have been washed away in the spring. Yes I usually take her apart every winter and change enough to say she's a new woman every spring......Can't wait for this winter.....gots me some neat ideas for her.....

They're both very clean, though.

I'm not sure, but I think the RT has seen more off-road than the KLR this year.

Fall is desert time; coming soon. The KLR will have its day.

I remember my first trip to Colorado and all the passes we rode during that trip.. Lots of 2 track..

I was on my R100RS and my buddy was on his Yamaha Venture..
