I want to see the ugliest, most beat KLR.

It's something of an honor...high mileage ridden hard bikes, I'm looking your way. Pics please?

Well, mine isn't overly ugly and there's many bikes owned by guys here with lots more miles..

So, I'm going to offer you a photo I took at The Boring Rally II which is put on every 5 years by Aerostich.. (there's one coming up this next summer)

The photo is of Greg Frasier's bike, with Greg walking away in the background.. I think the bike has been around the world either 2 or 3 times..

Please notice that it's a 2002 model. I've been told that that's the best year for a KLR.

I like the Goldwing seat on Greg's bike... Wonder if it was hard to graft on?

Cool thread, hope some well loved KLR's show up here!

I have it in my garage. Jeff Parkers 1987 KLR is the winner. I will post pictures, but go ahead and close the thread. This is the one that we pulled out of the swamp, and I put my .45 to the top of the motor to put it out of it's misery...The new progessive shock is worth more the the whole bike.

Case closed!

In Mark's defense, the bike was REALLY asking for it. It was more like putting a lame horse down. Mercy killing.
