I just cant sell my KLR.

So I have it bad for a new F800GS. I have my KLR 650 and a Yamaha cruiser that I never ride. My plan has been to sell them and get a new F800GS...Its a wonderfull bike the GS....I have not been able to sell that KLR no matter what I do......Knowbody wants to buy the thing. I have two guys lined up on the Yamaha however. The problem might be that every time I go to list the KLR online I just cant press "submit"...Its like a bad penny it just keeps coming back in my head and I cant bring myself to sell it. Kind of like an old dog...I guess i will keep it.....

KLRs are like good hunting dogs, loyal and always by your side! It's an emotional attachment in a lot of ways I think... I like the F800GS's as well, but I'm not willing (actually can't afford) to pay the BMW price for one. Plus, I like being married! I'd be terrified of scratching the darn thing and wouldn't let anyone else touch it...ever. A KLR, like a good hunting dog, is open to petting from anyone and everyone and they usually have some scratches (scars) that give them more character. The scratches, or "scars" are there because the KLR (like the hunting dog) was by your side as your loyal companion through thick and thin, doing with you what you love doing most.

Keep the rubber side down...

That's a good analogy.

Motorcycles, like women, shouldn't be allowed to hang around too long.
There is always another better one just around the corner....

Epic 12th post.

Honestly though, I've got the bike and the woman I'm sticking with as long as they'll both have me. But have fun.

Love my KLR, no point in selling it because I'd probably just end up buying another!
