BAR RISERS/CABLE QUESTIONS

I almost bought a black '07 this afternoon. The problem is I have a wrist injury and need to reduce the compression on my left wrist, so I need to sit a little more upright (I'm 6'4"). I remember a previous discussion on bar risers on Glenn's site. The main questions are:

1) Where do I get the bar risers?
2) How much of a rise do the provide?
3) Most importantly can they be used without having to get longer cables and hoses?

Whatever makes you happy...

Well Carl, I'll tell you that I have the Pro Taper ATV Highs, with 1" Bar Risers from Eagle Mike. My cables fit fine.

Stock bars with Eagle risers from Arrowhead motorsports. Cables have plenty of slack. No worries.

I have Eagle Mikes bar risers on and the cables are fine. I called Eagle Mike and ordered them (and a few other things) directly from him. Mike is a really nice guy that offers a lot of help to KLR riders.
