I'm also a victim of "Farkalization". I probably need to see a health care professional....

I grew up in Redding, joined the Army at 17, now retired after 30 plus years, is it still hotter than you know where in the summer?

Last summer was a breeze, only hit 115 for a few days and was only over 100 for a month or so.... A couple of years ago we were the hottest place in the U.S. at 126. Hotter than Death Valley that day. But it is February and will be in the
70s all week...

Yeah, Death Valley may get hotter but does it have an In n Out Burger? I didn't think so! I'm riding to Redding this summer no matter WHAT the temps are!

I think I'll stay in wet Washington, that's just too hot.
Incidentally, I took Motor Cycle Care and Repair with Mr. Skelly at Nova High School in1977, I'd bet they don't even have Auto shop in High School now...

Mike, you might want to come down for the State of Jefferson rally I started last year. If you go to www.advrider.com , go to the regional forums for CA and search Lake Siskiyou, CA ride you can check out some pics of the inaugural rally. Also you can go to YouTube and look up my channel, TheSkiBumBrian, and check out some GoPro footage of some rides around here.....
