Benicia Ride (bay area)

OK, when I lead rides, there are U-turns involved. I don't always have a set agenda. Zen and shit. I would love to take some folks on a ride this Sunday:

Gravel through the wetlands
Twisties forever
Maybe we'll stop to fish if anyone wants to (bring a rod)
Definitely crush a good burrito.

I have no GPS. On my bike or in my life. I can't give you any coordinates. If you want to ride, I can take you some dope places (especially if you're a birder like me), and we will put everyone's SAFETY and COMFORT LEVEL first. I aim for relaxing, fun rides. And burritos.

Who wants to roll the dice?

I can do this whenever, BTW, so if you want to do it but need to do it another day, we can negotiate.

Now THATS the way to set up a ride!!! I've never been much on organized rides / rally's because it feels as if we are all on rails with a schedule to keep. Not for me.

Too bad I cant make it because there was a chance as the company I work for currently has a crew at the Valero refinery in Benicia right now. I missed that job by a hair and am instead freezing my ass off in Snyder, Texas. I'd intended to stowaway the KLR in one of the equipment trailers and meet some of you guys locally. Bummer.

Gray-haired riders donít get that way from pure luck.

Good Morning LockJaw,

I definitely want to ride Sunday, as you can see by my post. I am working with Cabrito to fix a power surge on the Red Rider. If all goes well count me in. Give the where and when's.

Sorry Flash. We'll hit up Vallejo for you if you want.

Who could do this Sunday - meet up at the taco truck at noon? Benicia taco truck by Big O tires. I got to help with the little one in the morning. But that will give us a good long afternoon and get everyone home at a decent hour.

Takers?

Remember, I can do this pretty much whenever, so if you want to go, but Sunday won't work, don't be shy.

Doh, taco truck is closed Sunday. We can meet up for a burger. BBQ? Eat when and if we're hungry?

Hey guys

I haven't been on here in a while. My rear shock blew out on me last month, and now that my tax return is due any day, I can think about replacing it. I'd love to meet some local riders for some day/overnight trips in the area once I get the bike operable again!

My roommate and I both have 1st gen KLRs. We live in Benicia right by Lucca Bar on 1st street, so you may have seen them parked out front — mine's green and his is red.

If this is something that you do fairly regularly, I'd like to be kept in the loop!

Keep checking in. I live by the gas station/bait shop. Howdy neighbor.

We're flexible, man. As I said in the beginning, we can change up dates to accomodate. If you want to do it, say the word.
