Another lost friend....

I haven't written in a while, sorry guys, been busy.

I regret to inform you my good friend Lorne Lawry has taken his own life.
He was the DR650 guy who went on some trips with Cabrito, Mark, Kevin, myself and others.

As always it was unexpected and there were no signs of anything wrong on the surface.

I want to let my friends know that I love you all, and even though I haven't been around lately I think about you all the time and look forward to future rides n stuff.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.....

Wow, so sorry to hear that. My condolences to his family and you.

Gray-haired riders don’t get that way from pure luck.

I was just thinking of you the other day, bud. I'm so sorry. Having dealt with the issue from many sides on many levels...well, it's horrible. You will be in my thoughts.

Tracktorking,

I am deeply saddened by your news. It is always a sad and disconcerting experience that never really produces an end. I too have been involved in a situation that could have turned out just like yours. I hope you can find closure. I wish you, His Family and friends the best.

I also look forward to meeting you in person. The mebers speak very highly of you and your abilities.

Courage my friend.

RIP Lorne.

This shot of Lorne was from better times. He's smiling even though the night before he sprained his ankle while gathering firewood in the pitch dark. He was totally stoic throughout and never complained about it even though we could all tell that he was in a great deal of pain.

A few more shots of the Lorne Ranger

I was looking forward to riding again with him this year. I'll ride in his honor this weekend.

Thanks guys.
It's been a hard few weeks and myself and his close friends have put together a nice memorial tomorrow (weds 4/10).

Hopefully it will give everyone an opportunity to come to a resolution.

I've put together a nice remembrance video and will upload it in a few days.
Plowing through the vid stock I have has also put a fire under my ass to work on the
Video from last years Memorial Day trip in honor of SLOKLR, i am sure some of you we're wondering when it would get done but my life changed dramatically and I am now finding the time and energy to put it together.

Anywho, hope to ya'll and let's get some rides on!
