Anyone here use TCW3 oil in their fuel?

I was really surprised when I did a forum search that I got no results. It has been discussed on every other forum for anything with an engine so I thought I would bring it up here. Can't find the original write up on it but a google search finds all kinds of discussion. I have been using it in my goldwing for a while and I can't say it does anything for the gas mileage, some claim a pretty decent jump in economy, it does run noticeably smoother. I put some in the KLR last weekend but only rode it about 100 miles so I can't report any improvement yet, seems to take a tank or 2 to notice. I do know it can't hurt anything so I use it, just 1 oz. per 5 gallons or 640/1.

I love to ride, shoot and eat, what else is there at 60?

You put two smoke oil in the KLR's gas?

That's a new one on me.

Of course, for some Gen 2 bikes you'd never notice that much oil in the gas, as they can go through a quart in three tanks...

I would have to say I do but it's in a 2 stroke boat engine. Never heard of such a thing for a four stroke so feel free to enlighten us.

Um...hmm. Yeah, Seafoam. Not just an ugly color they paint motels...

Now, I'm really curious, though...

It all seems to have started here.

We get out lots but we've been too busy discussing doohickeys and electron flow in batteries to think about fuel.

Keep us posted on your results. That amount of TCW3 isn't going to hurt anything. I always added my left over boat fuel to my car at the end of the season and had no issues. Didn't realize what a genius I might be. Even added gasoline to my VW Rabbit diesel's tank in the winter.

To me, this falls into Billy Mays territory. Dammit, marketing, find us a way to increase sales of TCW3!

No that is not where it started but was as close as I could find to it myself. The original blog is probably way way back in the basement of the web.
