Aftermarket parts for the 2008 KLR ?
Hi , does anyone know if older aftermarket parts will fit on the new 2008 , i.e. rad protector,skid plate, etc or if any company is making them yet ? Have my new KLR commming this wek and want to outfit it for a long trip ? Cheers

The only company (I know of) making '08 parts is Happy Trails. Two different skid plates, boxes, etc. I want to see some nerfs to protect the street-like plastic.

Nerf Bars for 2008 KLR
Greetings!
Check out Happy Trails web site. They have nerf bars for the 2008. I personal saw it decked out. Looks nice. However, nothing protecting the new faring. I'd guess it is a bike that is 70% for the road and 30% for off road. Perhaps it is their answer to the Suzuki V-Strom's, looks wise.
