high altitude Riding

My wife and i are taking a vacation in colorado. We will be doing a lot of riding at 8,000-10,000 feet. I have a KLR she has a Yamaha tw200 do we need to rejet. If about how much will it cost. Does it make that much difference...we are older and ride pretty conservatively.

Can't say for the Yammy, but the KLR will do fine up to the top of Mt Evans or Pikes Peak (each over 14,000 ft).

Life is a mortal adventure. Don't avoid all the risks.

Roger that.
You may consider just carrying a couple of smaller main jets for the 200.
Keep an eye on the exhaust for black smoke & the plug for gas fouling.
You may be fine for a short time. There should be no effect on the KLR.
Have a good trip.
