I've been down this road before. Not saying it's a bad idea, just haven't seen a lot of success with it.
Initially there is a lot of interest but when it comes down to actual production and opening up the wallet the project pretty well dies a slow death. Biggest problem is cost of production for small quantities. Hard to compete with free calendars from the bank.
