Does anyone else think the '08 grips are too skiny?

I swear it feels like I'm holding two pencils sometimes. I'm actually getting a cramp in my throttle hand (whaa whaa) .

Who makes a nice, fat grip?

Try Pro grip 714's, they are thicker and absorb some vibration too.

yeah they suck (as most stock motorcycle grips do). Easy fix though... looking for gel grips.

"grab-on" foam grip covers. Cheap and easy to install. Just spray hairspray inside and slip them right over your existing grips.

Pencils was exactly how I described the grips to a friend of mine. I don't remember the brand I used to get but the grips were slightly radiused.....fat in the middle and narrower towards the ends, and for lack of a better way to describe them, siped kind of like tires. They were super comfortable.

Just get a pair of " Grip Puppies " from www.casporttouring.com and slide them over your stock grips. Their only $8.00 or so and work great. I've got them on both bikes. My buddy just put some on his 08 and loves them.

Thanks for the tip. I tried to find them at my local parts hose today, but with no luck. Looks like I'll be ordering a pair tomorrow morning.

Thanks. I went to their site and their sunline touring grips look just like the grips I was wrote about.

Timbo, I believe they are made for, and only available at C.S.T. Order the small size. You'll have to cut them to length then wet down the inside with windex or something and just slide them over the stock grips. Big improvement !!
