Klr transformations

Lets see everyone's bike transformations. From the day you got it till present day.

Day I bought her.

Started tweaking and painting. Like the black but kinda bland.

How about white and blue. Not bad.

Yellow...? Nope.

Orange? Yeah I think I can live with that.

Here is my 05, just a few days old. I bought it with 3K miles on it.

Here it is with the fender mods and KLX fairing...

After the OS stainless valves, ported head, hot cams, 688, and Lectron 44mm PowerJet.

And now, with full Ricor suspension, 1lb. LiFe battery, IMS tank treated with Blue Lightning and painted with gloss black enamel paint...

The side panels are stock but cut and modified. The fairing is off a KLX650, the rear fender is off a KXF and the front fender is an Acerbis fender. All of the plastics are painted with Krylon.
To use the KLX fairing you have to ditch the stock instruments and go with a Trailtech or something similar like this

Thanks for the compliments!!
