Thats good to know, makes me feel better about choosing the KLR to be my off road adventure bike....i don't have one yet but it appears that it fits most all of what i am looking for

Quite a few RTW trips have been done on a klr. One guy even did it on a sport bike. A great choice for those not given a free bike & gear for a trip... laugh.

I am sold on the KLR and as soon as i get my bonus check in few weeks i too will be the proud owner of a nicely used KLR, my wife said its ok to add yet another bike to the stable
