Sad News

This is not related to KLR’s , but as some here may also have Gold Wings, and may have done business with Venco Wings in Loudon N.H.

Jim Venne owner and mechanic of Venco Wings passed away yesterday. Here’s a copy of e-mail sent to me…………….

It is with great sadness that I inform you that everyone’s friend and top Gold Wing Mechanic Jim Venne passed away last evening. Please do not call Sue as she has enough to do right now. Nothing is yet known about the arrangements. I will forward that information when it becomes available.

Jim was a personal friend and all around great guy. No one I know of could hold a candle to him when it came to working on Honda Gold Wings. Not many shops where you could just stand there while he worked on your bike. I personally learned a lot from him.

Always sorry to hear a story like that. Prayers to his family and friends.

Gray-haired riders don’t get that way from pure luck.

I ride a Wing and have heard many good things about Venco Wings although never had any dealing with them. Sad to here about the passing of a fellow rider.
