Hello...and D.C.-Area Off Road Rides?

Hey guys. Just bought my first KLR 650 -- went with the '08, as the reviews seemed great. I've been riding sportbikes for a number of years (currently on a Aprilia Falco, which I love) and decided to add a dual sport to the garage. I've only put on about 100 miles, but so far it's been a blast.

I live in Washington, DC and I have no idea where to find some good off-road riding. I'm sure there are some decent places in Maryland or Virginia, and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Don, the miles will rack up fast. I bought my 07 in last of April and just rolled 4000 miles on my trip today. Have even rode it with my buddy down to TN and NC. Getting ready to head back down there Oct 1st.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
