Aluminum Skid Plate

I am thinking about trying to make one of these, would anyone be willing to shoot some sketches with dimensions and such my way? (I have autocad)
Thanks a lot.

yes, i got dims, pics, and desc...
but i ended up ordering one anyway.. i think the person that would have welded it for me was busy, and the aluminum was pricey too, didnt come out that far behind.

gas mileage any one?

What kind of mileage do these things get?
Are there common, easy ways to improve fuel economy that klrriders do?
I saw a test stating 37. mpg, I am hoping that was magazine editors flogging the bikes.
I bought my newklrblue so I can leave my f350, deisel guzzler at the house and commute most days with saving fuel in mind.
I have a 50 odd mile round trip that will add up to about $5000/yr at todays deisel prices, that looks like under $1k in gas cost at 50mpg.

If anyone out there has dabbled in improving gas mileage with the big singles
I would appreciate advise and comment.
I will share my progress.

enjoy your rides

That is good to hear, I figured 50 mpg would be easy. I intend to go to taller gearing and improve aero.
Thanks\
