Sea to shining Sea journey across America and back.

Well, its finally time to hit the road for a month of motorbikes and new places.

Leaving tomorrow for +1 month.
Starting in SF Bay Area and will head east until we hit the other ocean, then north and work our way back west and home.

I may update here occasionally but you can follow our blog at:

Ride safely!

If you happen to pass through Tooele, UT (which I highly doubt, because HWY 50 / HWY 6 pass south of Tooele by about 50 miles) send me a PM.

Also, if you're riding along 50 / 6, you'll pass by Great Basin National Park. If you've got time, it's worthwhile to ride up to the end of the road near Wheeler Peak, and again, if time is available, take the 90 minute tour of Lehman Cave. At the very least, the cave tour will get you out of the heat for an hour and a half.

I'll be looking forward to following your blog, tractorking. I hope we get some prose like that in your "4000 Miles" post awhile back.

Have a safe trip!

No problem. Looks like you're having a good time and good weather too. Bikes running good?

Been back for a week or so, as expected, KLR was flawless, BMW had some minor alternator issues but it was only 20mins once I had parts in hand.

20+ states! over 8000 miles...need more of that!
