Stew. Check the price at UFA in the Fort. I usually find them cheaper than Cdn. Tire sales price at their regular price.

Thank you, I'll have to check into that .

I was checking the Canadian Tire flyer to see the oil prices and noticed that they have canoes on sale... That oil almost got really expensive! Lol!

I checked out the sale, you save $6.00 on a 5 liter jug and $16.00 on an 18.9 liter pail. Good stuff!

Quite a bit of good stuff on sale at CT right now, leave your Visa at home! Lol!

I never got a chance to check out the UFA prices though, I'll have to stop in there when I have more time.

i bought another 18.9l pail, have just a little less than an oil change left in the first one. even with several early and frequent oil changes while breaking in the bike, i got just over a year out of it. i saved ~$6.50 an oil change (over the 5l @ regular price) and don't worry about changing the oil a little earlier rather than later.

and before someone brings up the shelf life of motor oil...... i have no concerns about using new motor oil that has been kept in a sealed container and stored in a cool dry place for several years.

Yup, I scooped a pail as well... Seemed to be the best choice as I don't even get two changes out of the 5 liter jug since I end up using a little to top up in between changes. I use it in the Wing as well and it holds lots! Lol

I too have no concerns about using oil that's been stored for extended periods, if it's sealed and kept dry it's all good!
