New here. Farkle??

Looking to buy KLR early April. Definately a 650 though friends, who don't ride KLRs, said its too big. They ride Suzukis 400s! Since I am looking at 2008 KLRs, what the heck is a Farkle (upgrade?). Man, I dig the green/silver - hard to find in Northern California, most shops are 1 month out! Since its asked for on other forums - my username is regards to my career, i'm a water treatment operator.

Welcome to the forum Waterboy.....The 650 is a TALL bike but is not too big, you can lower it, you can make it fit your personality, you can do any number of things to this bike. You will love the 08's, there are those that like the look of the older bikes, but you know, just having a bike to put a smile on your face is all that matters. Looking forward to seeing some pics of you and your new bike, once you get it, out on the back roads. Feel free to ask any and all questions. We are here to help.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
