My rear shock oil seal is blown so I start rebuilt but somehow the brass schrader valve got smashed while taking the plastic cap off. I'll called a Kawasaki dealer and they cant find a part number. I found one for a fox shock would it work? The forum site won't let me post a link

A work-around:

Prior to the required minimum posts, put your link up with SPACES between letters . . .

I blew my rear shock, too, and was lucky enough to receive a progressive shock from a member here. I gave my stocker away. There are lots of folks who change their stock shocks out and have the old ones lying around. Just a thought. Put up the 'need shock' bat signal and you might be surprised what happens.

If I hadn't already given mine away, I'd send it to ya. KLR folks is generous folks. You might be able to get a new or near new shock for cheap or trade.

Good luck.

Seems like a good time to replace it with something better.
