When you phone either one first question you ask is if they have stock. If they don't go elsewhere. Dual Star has been having issues lately. I have ordered from both and was reasonably satisfied with the service.

I have never been able to get ahold of Dual Star, but that was early last year, I quit trying. I have had nothing but great service with KLR650.
www.arrowheadmotorsports.com is another awesome sight for KLR stuff. Fred can answer about question you have and almost always is never out of stock on his inventory.

Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Have ordered parts through out the winter and the last order was a little slower than usual. 1 item was on back order and arrived about a week later.

No complaints other than the shipping and handling pretty well eat up any real savings that I would have made by not going through a "stealer".

I've ordered from all vendors that are mentioned above and most that sell klr650 parts. Never had a problem with any of them online. Chapparal racing is who I would watch carefully since they'll take your money and forget about you. +30 days and I had to chase after my special order stainless front brake line. I cancelled and got my money back. www.tpimotorcycleparts.com is great and has a monthly special-free shipping for april (you have to type "monthly special" in the note box)

94 KLR,tank guards,sw motech centerstand,Doo done, african switch, mirror dampners, powerpegz, twisted throttle fuses, aluminum skidplate, Bigcee shark disc and jug holder and subframe upgrade, progrip grips, maier handguards/brushguards, avon distanzias, fmf q4 exhaust, headlight guard, handlebar risers, billet rear brake reservoir bracket and guard, dual star shifter, garmin 2820 gps, tmod, disc cover, pcv mod, corbin flat

Dual Star is good to go - ordered my Progressive Springs, center stand and my valve shim kit from them.

Just used Multisurfacemotorcycling.com for my doohicky, rear shock spring and some other odds and ends today - promised to ship today with 2-3 days delivery.

Hmmmmmm I think I might end up ordering the HEAVY duty rear spring from Multisurface. Not a bad price at all.

That was in my order... New front and rear pads, the doohicky kit, new NGK plug and the rear spring...

Maintenance Weekend this weekend... New Front Springs, new rear spring, the doohicky, new tires, new plug... New Bike come Monday (at least I HOPE).

Have the HD to ride should things not go well, and the truck if it rains...

doing the Doohicky first and the tires, I am at the warning tread on my current rear and get antsy riding home in the rain - which is every freaking day.
