Unhappy How do you lean it out?

Just failed emissions here in Phoenix :-( for idle being too rich in HCs, hydrocarbons. Any one know how to lean out the idle?

Some details would be helpful. Year? Has it been "tuned" or is it completely stock?

Do you know where the idle mixture screw is?

Is the air cleaner clogged or dirty?

Pull the air filter box cover once you're in the parking lot for the test.

Drill the required one inch holes in top of airbox.. AKA: L MOD
and as larryboy said. Take off the air box door where the filter is located at.
Also don't forget...gotta keep that airfilter clean.. dirty filter will make bike a bit richer.

Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
