Fuel Mileage, for most of the Year.
Well, I cleaned out the gas receipts which were over-stuffing my wallet today.
I don't have them all, like the ones from my wife and Is' joint credit card which was used on our spring trip to Utah and Idaho. And didn't gas-up yesterday evening, after a mere 100 mile, end of season 'fling'.
But I did tabulate what I have,
4434.4 miles of travel, I filled 78.390 gallons, for an Average of 56.5684 MPG.
24 stops, Price?, who cares? I had fun!
Longest Tank Full, 289.1miles, 5.601gal, 51.615mpg
Best MPG, In and Out of Yellowstone Park, 222.4miles, 3.006gal, 73.985mpg
Worst MPG, Happened on spring Utah trip, Only Trip with Saddlebags, I remember at tick over 42mpg. But averaged over 50mpg for trip.
Worst MPG, in my wallet, This last month, 236.3miles, 4.782gal, 49.415mpg
Ouray, Colorado rugged passes and mixed roads, 722miles, 12.181gal, 59.273mpg
Granted, it is the lighter 1987 Gen1 model. I probably weight 165-170lbs in full gear with butt bag.
But I'm pretty proud of the 'OLD White Elephant'. 74,500+ miles and counting.

Still riding my 1987 KL650-A1. 85,000+ miles & counting
