Anyone relocated the mirror's ?

Today i took a tumble in the bush at a stop in some mud and aside from bruising my pride i also snapped off the left hand mirror and in the proccess took most of the LH switch block with it.......Doh !!!! So my question is has anyone relocated the mirrors from there original mounting points and if so how. I was thinking about a bracket running off the bars themselves away from the switchblocks.................
Any ideas guy's ???????????????

You can get a replacement switch at just about any aftermarket supplier. The switch is better and does not have a mirrior mount. You'll have to by a relocation bracket. The bracket takes the place of the back half of the clucth levler bracket. The price of the switch & bracket is alot lower than a new part from a dealer. Klr650.com & dual star would be good places to check. Some times Dual Star is hard to work with.
